So when I saw a pin for Funfetti Muddy Buddies on Pinterest, I just knew I had to try them for myself.
They are very easy to make and I think they're rather delicious. My mom thinks they're too sweet, but I don't think there is such a thing. :)
Funfetti Muddy Buddies
Adapted from: Six Sister's Stuff
Ingredients:
5 cups Chex cereal
10 oz White Chocolate Chips or Vanilla Flavored Almond Bark (either would taste great!)
1 1/2 cups Funfetti cake mix
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vegetable shortening
Directions:
1. Melt Almond Bark or White Chocolate according to package. You can add the vegetable shortening to this. I've also heard it works just fine without the shortening as well.
2. Pour the cereal into a large bowl and drizzle the melted Almond Bark or White Chocolate over the cereal. Mix gently with spoon or spatula.
3. Dump the cake mix and powdered sugar onto the cereal and mix gently with large spoon until all the cereal is evenly coated.
